Students at IISJ Tokyo and Yokohama came together to raise an incredible ¥800,000 for those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.
Nepali Ambassador to Japan His Excellency Mr. Harihar Kant Poudel visited IISJ to receive the donation. During an assembly this morning, he spoke to our students about climate change and the importance of learning more about its causes and impact—a reminder that understanding the world around us is an essential part of education.
At IISJ, education is not only about what students learn in their classrooms. It is also about civic duty, compassion, leadership, and taking responsibility for the communities and world we share.
