Uniforms
At IISJ, we believe that wearing a uniform creates an identity for the School and is an important part of being an IISJ student. As representatives of the School, students must be properly dressed at all times.
There are different uniforms for winter and summer. Students are also required to buy PE uniforms.
Uniforms are available for purchase from the School Shop between 9:30AM-2:00PM, Monday to Friday.
Students are expected to be neat, clean, and well-groomed while they are at School.
- All clothing needs to fit, not too tightly or loosely.
- Hair must be a natural color, kept clean and neat. Boys’ hair must be above the collar and kept out of the eyes at all times.
- No jewelry at anytime.
- If students outgrow their uniform, they must buy the next size up.
- Uniform items must be laundered regularly, please. Replace missing buttons immediately.

At School, they must change into a pair of black, white-soled sneakers that will be kept in their cubbies/lockers for the duration of the School year (no bright sneakers like pink, yellow, or white, and no high tops). On gym days, students must bring a clean pair of sneakers for use in the gym. These gym sneakers go home at the end of the day.
UMBRELLAS: Students are encouraged to buy folding umbrellas that they can keep in their backpacks. Too many umbrellas get lost because they look alike.
