I feel very excited everyday to attend IISJ because the teachers make us learn in very creative ways. I made great friends here who always stand for each other.
Grade 6
The curriculum is structured so that students investigate the social, geographic, economic, political and historical aspects of each unit of study. Real life pictures, images, situations, ‘Higher Order Thinking’ based questions act as a stimuli.
Middle School science continues with topics that include weather, motion and time, and electricity. Through science, IISJ hopes to teach critical thinking skills that enable students to solve problems, make decisions, and think creatively.
Math significantly ramps up in Middle School. Students are taught algebra, geometry, and statistics.
At this level, classes become more specialized where students are challenged to focus on concepts in their various classes. This is the start of the education process which eventually culminates in each student picking a graduation stream: Science, Commerce, or Humanities in their Senior Secondary School years.
We will shortly come up with something new, keep visiting us.
